USA Strike and affiliate sites respect your privacy. We believe you should understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Our approach is simple: we collect as little personal information as reasonably necessary, we do not sell your personal information, we use "security by design” principles, and we do not use your personal information for purposes you did not expect.

1. Summary of our Privacy Architecture

• Website → Squarespace
  Aggregate website analytics, with nonessential analytics cookies restricted pending user consent.

• Mailing list → Brevo
  Voluntarily supplied email → EU-hosted database → anonymous campaign analytics.

• Advertising → None
  No behavioral profiles, no targeted advertising, no sale of personal information.

2. Information We Collect

You can visit our website without giving us your name or email address.

If you choose to sign up for our mailing list, request information, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:

• your first name (minimum required);

• your last name;

• your email address (minimum required);

• information you voluntarily include in a message to us.

We collect email addresses only when you choose to provide them.

Our website or hosting provider may also automatically receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP addresses, browser information, device information, and server logs.

3. Information Collected When You Visit Our Website

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Like most website platforms, Squarespace processes certain technical information when you visit our website so that it can operate, secure, and provide the website and its analytics services.

This information may include:

• your IP address;

• information about your browser, network, and device;

• the webpage that referred you to our website;

• pages you visit on our website; and

• information about how you use the website, such as clicks, scrolling, searches, and timestamps.

We use Squarespace Analytics to understand general website traffic and how visitors use our website. We use this information to operate and improve our website, not to build advertising profiles about our visitors.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information you provide to:

• send you communications you have requested or agreed to receive;

• respond to your questions or requests;

• provide information about our work, activities, services, or events; and

• operate, maintain, and protect our website and communications systems.

We do not use your contact information for purposes that are materially different from the reason you provided it without first telling you.

5. Email and Mailing List Information

If you choose to join our mailing list, we collect the contact information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address.

We use Brevo to manage our mailing list and send email communications. When you sign up, your mailing-list information is transferred to and processed by Brevo on our behalf.

We selected Brevo in part because its databases are hosted within the European Union. Brevo currently states that its primary hosting is in France and Germany, with data also stored in Belgium.

We remain responsible for deciding why and how we use the personal information in our mailing list. Brevo processes that information on our behalf to provide its email and communications services.

We use mailing-list information only for the purposes for which you provided it. We do not sell our mailing list, rent it to others, or share it with third parties for their own marketing or targeted advertising.

You can unsubscribe from our email communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us at usastrike@proton.me

We may retain limited information necessary to document your request and ensure that we do not send you communications you have asked not to receive.

6. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We also do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

We may provide information to companies that perform services for us—such as our website host, mailing-list provider, or other technology providers—but only as reasonably necessary for them to provide those services.

We may also disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, security, or the security of others.

7. Email Communications

We send email communications to people who have chosen to receive them.

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us at usastrike@proton.me.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending a message that is necessary to respond to something you have specifically requested.

8. Cookies and Analytics

Our website is hosted by Squarespace and uses cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to function properly and securely. These cookies may be used automatically.

Squarespace also provides analytics and performance cookies that help us understand things such as the number of visitors to our website, visits and pageviews, traffic sources, and how visitors interact with the website.

We restrict analytics and performance cookies until you choose to accept them through our cookie banner.

We do not use Squarespace Analytics to identify individual visitors for advertising purposes, and we do not use the information we receive through Squarespace Analytics to create advertising profiles.

You can use our cookie controls to accept or decline non-essential cookies and to change your preferences.

We do not use cookies to sell your personal information or share your personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Squarespace may separately process certain technical information about visitors to websites hosted on its platform for its own purposes, including operating, securing, and improving its services. Squarespace's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy practices.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect our legitimate interests.

If you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we will stop using your contact information to send you those communications. We may retain limited information necessary to record and honor your opt-out request.

10. Protecting Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the personal information in our care.

No website, email system, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take privacy and security seriously and seek to minimize both the amount of personal information we collect and the period for which we retain it.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us to:

• ask what personal information we have about you;

• ask us to correct inaccurate information;
